A can-do attitude and the ability to prevail over adversity are key JPM Exportaciones values. It was this disposition and determination that helped us pull through from the aftermath of the great earthquake of 2010.

Prior to the earthquake, JPM Exportaciones had invested over CLP$500 million in new technology and plant facilities —which became crumpled ruins in a matter of seconds. But we pulled ourselves up by our bootstraps and started all over again.

Though the disappointment was great, our attitude was positive. Now JPM Exportaciones is back to being an efficient concern with a well-run packing plant.

Sprawling over 2,000 square meters of floor space, the plant can stockpile up to 2,500 tons of products. Our state-of-the-art technology features homogenizer tanks capable of mixing up to 44 tons per day. Homogenizing is a key step that ensures that clients can verify the profile of any one container on the basis of just one small sample.

The JPM Exportaciones plant is strategically located 40 km from Santiago and 100 km from the port city of Valparaíso, the gateway through which JPM ships fully one quarter of Chile’s honey exports.
